Terracotta – an environmentally-friendly choice
A 100% natural material
Used in architecture for over a millennium, terracotta stands out nowadays more than ever as a 100% environmentally-friendly material. No chemicals or pollutant are used in its manufacture. The clay used is sourced from natural quarries near the production site. In addition to being reasonably affordable and highly resistant, terracotta gets more beautiful as it ages. Its qualities are not merely appreciated outdoors; throughout its life, terracotta adds comfort and style to interior areas and does not emit any odours nor contain any carcinogenic volatile organic compounds.
Terracotta, an excellent example of sustainable development
Protecting resources : thanks to a limited amount of energy resources and reduced emissions into the atmosphere. In using wood to fire the clay as well as adopting a natural drying process, we have managed to cut our fossil fuel consumption.

Reusing water : the production site includes a treatment station where waste water is treated in order to be reused.
Environmentally-friendly waste : qualified as inert (2002 decree), terracotta waste is guaranteed safe for human health and the environment.
